Finals

The final four teams earn an all-expense-paid trip to the April 17-19, 2009, finals at NYU. This trip provides up to three students and two coaches per school the opportunity to participate in a written and oral debate competition before a panel of some of the world’s foremost experts in debate, business, law and politics.  The debates will also be broadcast live on the Internet for everyone who wishes to view.  The winning team claims a $10,000 grand prize ($5,000 for the school and $5000 divided between the team) and the “Bickel & Brewer Cup.”  In addition, the runner up receives $3,500, and the two semifinal schools each receive $1,000 to be handed out at a special banquet and awards ceremony.

The NPPF finals includes an exciting oral debate competition judged by a panel of the world's foremost experts in debate, business, law and politics.
